Check-6 CEO Brian “Bru” Brurud gave a TEDx talk entitled “Use What You Have at Hand,” where he describes the impact his 3rd grade teacher had on him in learning the lesson of making the best out of challenging circumstances by using what you have at hand around you.
Alberto “Beto” Gianola is a Check-6 Coach in Argentina, and he was working with crews from Clear Petroleum on how to continuously improve with Planned Based Execution. Unfortunately, Beto was in the middle of nowhere with no dry erase boards or monitors for presentations. Tough communication challenge, but he decided to grab some smooth rocks and had the crews paint the continuous improvement cycle on them so they could reference them throughout their shifts! Hard Rock Training at its finest!
