Check-6 was delighted to participate in the Chevron/NFL “Huddle Up for Kids” charity golf tournament this week in Pittsburgh.
Millions of children around the world need a caring adult role model, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters here in the US helps fill the gaps, assisting them in navigating their unique challenges and helping them reach their potential. Yarko “JJ” Sos, Check-6 Founder/Director golfed with Pittsburgh Steelers legendary running back Rocky Bleier. They had a lot to talk about, as both are wartime veterans. Rocky is a Vietnam Veteran, who was drafted, served in combat, was wounded and told he would never play football again. He did. From his military service, Rocky earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. In his football career, he helped the Steelers win their first 4 Super Bowls! Great team effort huddling up for kids!!
