A beautiful, hot August day in Bartlesville, Oklahoma was the backdrop for honoring Team River Runner. The inspirational group, headquartered in Washington D.C., helps wounded veterans on the “River to Recovery” with adaptive paddle sports.

Check-6 is proud to be the lead sponsor of the tournament, which raised around $50,000 for TRR, monies to be used for them to continue their life-saving mission. Check-6 Co-Founder Yarko “JJ” Sos and Global Business Development Manager Keri Gonzalez tore it up on the course!  Volunteers Deni Lorson and Lorront Carney, classmates of Check-6 Founder Brian “Bru” Brurud were recognized by the Oklahoma State Senate for their work in making it happen, and the many lives it has changed.
